About FVC
Season 2024/2025 - September to May
Farnborough Volleyball Club (FVC) located in Farnborough, Hampshire, UK was founded in 1997 by a group of friends from DERA who began playing volleyball casually and got rather good at it. They established the club to involve more people in the sport.

Juniors
FVC Academy Training:
We welcome children from Year 7 upwards to join our FVC Academy, which offers training suitable for both beginners and improvers. The academy focuses on enjoyment, friendship, community, and improving volleyball skills.

Competitions and Tournaments:
We organise regular 'friendly' tournaments against local clubs and within our club. This year, we are excited to participate in the National Junior Grand Prix for the first time. Many of our juniors also have the opportunity to play in the Berkshire Volleyball League alongside our adult players.

Outdoor Play:
During the summer, from June to early September, we play outdoors in Aldershot a couple of times a week. Juniors can participate in these sessions to develop their skills and enjoy the sport in a fun environment.

Adults
General Training:
Our adult general training sessions are designed for those who already have some experience playing volleyball and want to improve their game. We have four teams competing in the Berkshire Volleyball League, and we participate in various tournaments throughout the year.

Beginner Sessions:
For those new to the sport, we offer Adult Beginner sessions to help you learn the basics and build confidence on the court.

Outdoor Play:
During the summer, from June to early September, we play outdoors in Aldershot a couple of times a week. Members form teams to compete in tournaments and enjoy social play twice a week.

Community and Club Values
Our club is proud to be an international community, with players from all over the world. Whatever language you speak, you'll likely find someone to chat with at FVC. We emphasize enjoyment, friendship, and a sense of community while fostering competitive play.
